24-7 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager for Magna Exteriors, a well know Banbury based Automotive company, OX16 2SP. Our client is a leading Automotive supplier in 28 countries, supplying and building bumpers for leading car brands such as BMW, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Mini, Mercedes and many more. As a Health & Safety Manager shift and pay based in Banbury: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday 08.00 – 16.30 & Fri 08.00 – 13.30 Per Annum £55,000 As a Health & Safety Manager, you will be: Ensure all HSE policies and procedures are up to date and in line with legal requirements. Lead and manage relationships with the HSE and any other external H&S visits. Risk Register and Risk Assessments are in place covering all areas. Deliver strategies to ensure achievement of the H&S objectives. H&S Management system is in place and updated annually. Site Fire plans and evacuations are in place and completed at the appropriate frequency. H&S Audits are completed at the appropriate frequency. Monitor and communicate accident trends within the business and identify improvement areas. Identify business improvements within H&S through the capital program. Ensure key areas such as COSHH, Traffic Management, Working at Height and Lock Off are managed effectively with the appropriate training in place. Provide clear and concise communications which can be cascade through to all levels of the department. Skills and Experience of a Health & Safety Manager based in Banbury: An experienced H&S professional with the ability to apply strong, inspirational leadership skills to promote and deliver operational goals and objectives. Will have a track record of being a team builder and partnering with a senior management team to implement improvements that result in improved H&S performance and results. Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills and team working skills. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to engage and motivate teams. Ability to deal with conflict and drive and implement resolutions. Tactical thought process, able to challenge convention and identify alternative ways of working. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical awareness. You will have spent a considerable proportion of your career in a manufacturing.
