Our client is looking to hire an Operations Coordinator based in Aberdeen Job Description: Salary – £26,000 to £30,000 per annum Job Accountabilities: Coordinate daily multi modal operations and ensure they are aligned with company policies and procedures. Assist in the development and implementation of operational processes to improve efficiency To ensure Invoices are correctly billed and completed and costs accrued within departmental KPIs To ensure all Data Quality guidelines are compliant Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and third party service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. To ensure ongoing and consistent client satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to enquiries, issues and problems To identify and solve issues in order to maximize customer satisfaction To ensure you represent the company in a professional and consultative manner at all times Continuously provide training to all operations staff Maintain on-going knowledge of procedural and/or regulatory changes as well as information published on the company’s intranets, and ensure distribution of information vital to the operations of the department/team Involving relevant stakeholders when necessary for any departmental/operational/ administrative issues or needs Build relationships with freight carriers and maintain rate tariffs Heavy Lifting Skills and Attributes: Minimum 2 years’ experience in Customer Service or Pricing within freight forwarding. Diplomatic skills to be used in front of the customers Analytic and negotiation skills. Customer oriented & team player. Able to work under the pressure where needed. Good time management techniques. Computer Literacy (MS Office). Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.
