24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for Transport Clerk on behalf of our client, based in Burton-on-Trent. The key responsibilities in this role include; To support in the day to to day running of the operation making sure all KPI’s are met safely. Manage the daily operational plan for both trunking and shunting Debrief drivers as they return, including walk round vehicle check and box check Manage colleagues Rotas fairly and effectively Maintain compliance of all vehicles and drivers – raising defects and checking working time legislation Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed including raising any accidents or incidents to front line leadership To ensure all tasks are completed to a timely manor Assign tasks according to daily resource planning received liaising with First line management and agencies to cover any unfilled slots Understand the safe systems of work and be able to raise any issues with drivers not following them Liaise with your first line manager in communicating your development aspirations and comply with all training provided Attend Monthly performance reviews with your first line manager Pay Information: Term to perm £11.13 Sfift available: Night 22:00 – 06:00 Benefits of working with 24-7 as an HGV Class 1 Driver: Weekly Pay – Every Friday 28 days accrued annual leave per annum (roughly 2.5 days a month) Online payslips On-going assignments
