HGV Class 1 Driver – Mendlesham

Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00

£15.65 per hour, 8 hour minimum

We are currently looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver for a client we are representing in the Mendlesham area, this is a temp to permanent role. The hours of 08:00 – 16:00 might extend once volume increases. You will be doing shunts to and from local a delivery point.

As a HGV Class 1 Driver we ask:

• You hold a minimum of 1 year HGV Class 1 experience
• You hold a Full UK Driving licence with C+E / Full CPC and DIGI Tacho card
• You do not have any DD, DR or IN convictions on licence

As a HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
