We are looking to appoint a Sales Manager reporting to our Managing Director to take responsibility for delivering business growth both within & outside of our existing client portfolio.
The role will have a national scope, play a critical role in the development & growth of the business and will be responsible for delivering annual sales targets.
In this role, the right candidate will have responsibility for developing new customer relationships, building a strong sales pipeline and managing the sales & tender processes through to successful completion, negotiation of final agreements & handover to operational teams.
The Successful Applicant
- Successful track-record of securing new business within the distribution / warehousing sector or comparable industry.
- Ability to fully understand, promote & sell the value add of our service portfolio
- Strong organisational skills, ensuring sales pipeline & prospects are accurate and all deadlines are met
- Ability to support full sales process from opportunity identification through to customer agreement & operational implementation.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the customers & the internal company organisation
